Consecutive Employment/Span Sample Clauses
The Consecutive Employment/Span clause defines the required period of continuous employment for an employee to qualify for certain rights or benefits under an agreement. Typically, this clause specifies that only uninterrupted service counts toward eligibility, meaning any breaks in employment may reset or affect the calculation of the employment span. For example, an employee may need to work for 12 consecutive months to be eligible for a bonus or additional leave. This clause ensures clarity in determining when employment-related entitlements are earned, preventing disputes over eligibility due to gaps or interruptions in service.
