Common use of Consent in Sole and Absolute Discretion Clause in Contracts

Consent in Sole and Absolute Discretion. Whenever in this Agreement there is a requirement of the Agency’s consent, the Agency’s approval, the Agency’s determination, the Agency’s acceptance, or the Agency’s judgment (or Freddie Mac’s consent, Freddie Mac’s approval, Freddie Mac’s determination, Freddie Mac’s acceptance or Freddie Mac’s judgment) or any other phrase of similar nature pertaining to an action required of the Agency or Freddie Mac, it is understood by such phrase that Freddie Mac shall exercise the granting or withholding of its consent, approval, determination, acceptance, right or judgment in its sole and absolute discretion.
