Common use of Consent to Personal Jurisdiction Clause in Contracts

Consent to Personal Jurisdiction. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Washington without regards to Washington’s conflicts of law rules that may result in the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Washington. To the extent that any lawsuit is permitted under this Agreement, Employee expressly consents to the personal and exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the State and Federal Courts located in Washington for any lawsuit filed against me by the Company. In the event of a breach or threatened breach by the Employee of any of the provisions of Article 5 or Article 6 of this Agreement, nothing in this Agreement precludes the Company from applying to a court of competent jurisdiction to seek injunctive relief or otherwise protect or enforce its intellectual property rights, or enforce the Employee’s fiduciary, non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality or any other post-employment obligations.
