Common use of Consent Withheld Clause in Contracts

Consent Withheld. If the Material Project Contractor withholds its consent to a Proposed Novation Notice, the Authority may give one or more subsequent Proposed Novation Notices, pursuant to the provisions of Section 4.1, containing changed particulars relating to the same Proposed Substitute or particulars relating to another Proposed Substitute which the Authority reasonably believes would fulfil the requirements of Sections 4.3, provided that only one Proposed Novation Notice may be outstanding at any one time, and provided further that:
