Consistency with Existing Law and Compliance. For the purposes of this Drought Response Operations Agreement, storage of water in and release of water from the CRSPA Initial Units to accomplish a drought response operation does not, and shall not be construed to, violate the Colorado River Compact, Upper Colorado River Basin Compact, Colorado River Storage Project Act, Colorado River Basin Project Act, the San Xxxx-Xxxxx Project Act (P.L. 87-483), the Northwestern New Mexico Rural Water Projects Act (P.L. 111-11), Records of Decision for each facility, Biological Opinions for each facility, or contracts for water or power, states’ water right systems and decrees and all applicable rules and regulations promulgated thereunder.
