Common use of Construction Manager’s Clause in Contracts

Construction Manager’s. Records of Construction Manager’s costs, Reimbursable Expenses, expenses pertaining to Additional Pre-Construction Phase Services, and services performed on the basis of a Worker Wage Rate, Direct Salary Expense or Monthly Salary Rate (individually and collectively “Project Financial Records”) shall be kept on the basis of generally accepted accounting principles and in accordance with cost accounting standards promulgated by the Federal Office of Management and Budget Cost Accounting Standards Board. Project Financial Records shall be available for audit by Owner or Owner's authorized representative during normal business hours upon reasonable notice, and shall be retained for four (4) years after Final Payment or abandonment of the Project, unless Owner otherwise instructs Construction Manager in writing.
