Common use of Construction of References Clause in Contracts

Construction of References. All references in this instrument -------------------------- to designated Sections and other subdivisions are to designated Sections and other subdivisions of this instrument, and the words "herein", "hereof" and "hereunder" and other words of similar import refer to this Lease as a whole and not to any particular Section or other subdivision. Except as otherwise indicated, all the agreements or instruments herein defined shall mean such agreements or instruments as the same may from time to time be supplemented or amended or the terms thereof waived or modified to the extent permitted by, and in accordance with, the terms thereof.
