Common use of Consultant Intellectual Property-Derivative Work Clause in Contracts

Consultant Intellectual Property-Derivative Work. In the event that Work Product created by Consultant under this Contract is a derivative work based on Consultant Intellectual Property or is a compilation that includes Consultant Intellectual Property, Consultant hereby grants to Owner an irrevocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use the pre-existing elements of Consultant Intellectual Property employed in the Work Product, including the right of Owner to authorize contractors, consultants and others to use the pre-existing elements of Consultant Intellectual Property employed in a Work Product, for the purposes described in this Contract.

Consultant Intellectual Property-Derivative Work. Consultant Intellectual Property-Derivative Work. In the event that Work Product created by Consultant under this the Contract is a derivative work based on Consultant Intellectual Property Property, or is a compilation that includes Consultant Intellectual Property, Consultant hereby grants to Owner Agency an irrevocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use use, reproduce, prepare derivative works based upon, distribute copies of, perform and display the pre-existing elements of Consultant Intellectual Property employed in the Work Product, including the right of Owner Agency to authorize contractors, consultants and others to use do the pre-existing elements of Consultant Intellectual Property employed in a Work Product, for the purposes described in this Contractsame on Agency’s behalf.

Consultant Intellectual Property-Derivative Work.
