Containment and Ventilation System Plans. The Engineer shall review data and assumptions used for the design of the containment system. The Engineer shall verify compliance with the specifications and guidelines of SSPC as they relate to containment enclosures (including, but not limited to: functionality, illumination; joints and opening treatment, mechanical equipment; and contingencies for storms or other naturally occurring events). The Engineer shall utilize a Professional Engineer, licensed or registered in the State of Texas, to review and validate the structural assumptions and calculations (such as: dead and live loads, connections, and resultant anchorage loads imparted to the structure by the containment system as proposed) for the containment structure.
