Common use of Content of Tender Document Clause in Contracts

Content of Tender Document. 10.1 The set of tender documents comprises the following documents and should be read in conjunction with any clarification notes issued in accordance with Clause 24: Volume 1 Instructions to Tenderers Volume 2 Draft Contract  Special Conditions  General Conditions Volume 3 Technical Specifications Volume 4 Model Financial Bid/Bill of Quantities 10.2 Tenderers bear sole liability for examining with appropriate care the tender documents, including those design documents available for inspection, and any clarification notes to the tender documents issued during the tendering period, and for obtaining reliable information with respect to conditions and obligations that may in any way affect the amount or nature of the tender or the execution of the works. In the event that the tenderer is successful, no claim for alteration of the tender amount will be entertained on the grounds of errors or omissions in the obligations of the tenderer described above. 10.3 The tenderer must provide all documents required by the provisions of the tender document. All such documents, without exception, must comply strictly with these conditions and provisions and contain no alterations made by the tenderer.
