Common use of Continuance of Enrollment Clause in Contracts

Continuance of Enrollment. If an employee is on an approved unpaid leave and therefore not eligible for District contribution, the employee may arrange for continuance of enrollment for a period not to exceed one (1) year by making a proper payment to the plan. Payment shall be made by check or money order in the gross premium amount, payable to LAUSD and sent to the District's Benefits Administration Branch. Payments may be made by installments on the due dates and in the amounts required by the plan.
