Continuation During Re-negotiation. When renegotiation of this agreement is in process, but will not be completed by its expiration date, or to cover the period of an election if the union recognition has been properly challenged, the agreement shall be extended for a period sufficient to commit the parties to final agreement, or to permit resolution of the challenge.
