Continuous Effect Sample Clauses
A Continuous Effect clause defines provisions or obligations within a contract that remain in force beyond the initial term or after certain events, such as termination or expiration of the agreement. This clause typically specifies which rights, duties, or restrictions—such as confidentiality, indemnification, or non-compete obligations—will continue to bind the parties even after the main contractual relationship ends. Its core practical function is to ensure that essential protections or responsibilities persist as needed, thereby preventing gaps in coverage or unintended loss of important rights and obligations.
