CONTRACT CARRIERS. Dispatcher shall make reasonable efforts to place Shipper’s cargoes with responsible carriers for the purposes of transporting the cargoes with reasonable dispatch under the direction of Shipper. However, the parties understand and agree that Dispatcher, by signing this Agreement, makes no express or implied warranties or guarantees concerning delivery time or the locating of a carrier to provide the transportation services requested by Shipper.

CONTRACT CARRIERS. BROKER shall make reasonable efforts to place XXXXXXX’s loads with responsible Servicing Motor Carriers authorized to perform the services required by SHIPPER for the purposes of transporting the loads with reasonable dispatch under the direction of SHIPPER. In no event will BROKER tender any goods of SHIPPER to a Servicing Motor Carrier holding an “Unsatisfactory” safety rating. BROKER also agrees to utilize only Servicing Motor Carriers that possess all insurance coverages required by applicable law. However, the Parties understand and agree that BROKER, by signing this Agreement, makes no express or implied warranties or guarantees concerning delivery time or the locating of a Servicing Motor Carrier to provide the transportation services requested by SHIPPER. Moreover, XXXXXXX acknowledges and agrees that such Servicing Motor Carrier’s might limit SHIPPER’s recovery for claims for cargo loss, damage or delay.

CONTRACT CARRIERS. The Company agrees to engage all contract carriers that perform work for or on behalf of the company in the following terms: (a) contract carriers performing work for the company shall receive increases in the labour component of their rates of remuneration in line with the increases specified in this framework agreement; the relevant Determination shall be the instrument to calculate the increases based upon the labour component. Where unit rates are paid, labour as a percentage of operating costs will be calculated to facilitate the payment of future wage increases. This will be done in conjunction with the Site delegate and the TWU NSW Branch. (b) any yard agreement or other unregistered agreement, arrangement or understanding in force at the time this Framework Agreement is executed shall continue to apply unless the parties to this Framework Agreement specifically agree to other arrangements to apply in lieu thereof.
CONTRACT CARRIERS. GEODIS’ sole responsibility with respect to qualification of Carriers available for use with respect to the Service is to make reasonable efforts to restrict access to the Service to only those Carriers: (i) authorized to perform the services required by Customer; and (ii) that possess commercial automobile/trucking liability insurance coverage with limits of not less than one million U.S. Dollars ($1,000,000) per occurrence, motor truck cargo legal liability insurance in an amount not less than one-hundred thousand U.S. Dollars ($100,000) per occurrence, and all insurance coverages required by applicable law. GEODIS makes no express or implied warranties or guarantees concerning delivery time or the locating of a Carrier to provide the transportation services requested by Customer.

  • Carriers The carriers (including airlines, rail and sea carriers used in association with the tours) are not responsible for statements or features in Tour Brochures. The conditions of sale of each carrier constitute a separate contract between You and the carrier and We have no responsibility in relation to contracts between You and the carriers.

  • Contractors All LAUSD Contractors and their Representatives are expected to conduct any and all business affiliated with LAUSD in an ethical and responsible manner that fosters integrity and public confidence. A “Contractor” is any individual, organization, corporation, sole proprietorship, partnership, nonprofit, joint venture, association, or any combination thereof that is pursuing or conducting business with and/or on behalf of LAUSD, including, without limitation, consultants, suppliers, manufacturers, and any other vendors, bidders or proposers. The Department supports diversity in its procurements and contracts, and requests that the Contractor offer subcontracting opportunities to certified woman-, veteran-, and minority-owned small businesses.   • Contractor If COUNTY elects to renegotiate this Agreement due to reduced or terminated 20 funding, CONTRACTOR shall not be obligated to accept the renegotiated terms.

  • Third Party Contractors Tenant shall obtain and deliver to Landlord, Third Party Contractor’s certificates of insurance and applicable endorsements at least seven (7) business days prior to the commencement of work in or about the Premises by any vendor or any other third-party contractor (collectively, a “Third Party Contractor”). All such insurance shall (a) name Landlord as an additional insured under such party’s liability policies as required by Section 10.3.1 above and this Section 10.6, (b) provide a waiver of subrogation in favor of Landlord under such Third Party Contractor’s commercial general liability insurance, (c) be primary and any insurance carried by Landlord shall be excess and non-contributing, and (d) comply with Landlord’s minimum insurance requirements.

  • Sub-Contractors Transfer Agent may, without further consent on the part of Customer, subcontract with other subcontractors for telephone and mailing services as may be required from time to time; provided, however, that the Transfer Agent shall be as fully responsible to the Customer for the acts and omissions of any subcontractor as it is for its own acts and omissions.

  • Contractor Services Emerald has contracted, on an exclusive basis, with official contractors to provide certain services for the Event. Service companies other than the official contractors will not be allowed to perform any of these exclusive services. Non-exclusive services may be performed by exhibitor-appointed contractors (“EACs”) within certain guidelines. Brokers and packagers are not regarded as manufacturers or regular dealers within the meaning of this section.   • Supplier A manufacturer, fabricator, distributor, supplier, or vendor of goods or equipment in connection with the Work, or any other party having a Contract or Purchase Order with the Contractor or with a Subcontractor to furnish materials or equipment to be incorporated in the Work by the Contractor or a Subcontractor.
