Contract Demand. Union shall transport a quantity of gas, on any one Day, of: • up to 36,927 GJ (35,000 MMBtu) (the “Contract Demand”).
Contract Demand. (a) The Contract Demand shall be the kW of demand specified in the Service Agreement. In cases where any change is required in Company's facilities due to the actual demand exceeding the Contract Demand or due to Customer requesting an increase in available capacity, Company may require Customer to execute a new Agreement or amend an existing Agreement, thereby establishing a new Contract Demand. If Company is unable to supply such actual or requested increase, then upon written request, Customer will not exceed the existing Contract Demand or such amount in excess thereof as Company determines it is able to provide.
Contract Demand. A contract demand will be established by the Company, based on applicant's demand requirements for any customer newly requesting service on this schedule and for any customer of record on this schedule who requests an increase or decrease in transformer capacity in accordance with Rule No. 12 D. A contract demand arrangement is available upon request for all customers of record on this schedule. The contract demand will be used only for purposes of establishing the minimum demand charge for facilities required to provide service under the rate and will not be otherwise used for billing purposes. Contract demand is based upon the nominal kilovolt-ampere rating of the Company's serving transformer(s) or the standard transformer size determined by the Company as required to serve the customer's stated measurable kilowatt demand, whichever is less and is expressed in kilowatts.
