Common use of CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS AND RENEWALS Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT MODIFICATIONS AND RENEWALS. ‌ With the exception of term extensions addressed in Section 4.1, Contract Term and Extensions, any modifications to this Contract must be made by an instrument in writing executed by the Parties. However, in accordance with Appendix B, Section 26, Modification of Contract Terms, an Authorized User shall have the authority to accept an offer from Contractor for more advantageous terms and pricing than those under this Contract. An Authorized User shall not have the authority to accept any other requests for modifications to the Contract, which must be handled as outlined herein.
