CONTRACT PERIOD AND DEFINITIONS. This Agreement shall commence on and the duties of the Contractor as set forth in Section 4 of this Agreement shall be completed by the Contractor no later than (hereinafter “end date”). Whenever the following terms or phrases are used in this Agreement, they shall have the following meaning unless the context clearly requires otherwise: State - Wherever the term ‘State’ is used in this Agreement, it shall include the Secretary of the Teachers’ Retirement Board or his authorized agents, employees or designees.
