Common use of CONTRACT REMEDIES Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT REMEDIES. To ensure Contractor’s full performance of the Contract and compliance with applicable law, the System Agency reserves the right to hold Contractor accountable for breach of contract or substandard performance and may take remedial or corrective actions, including, but not limited to: i. suspending all or part of the Contract; ii. requiring the Contractor to take specific actions in order to remain in compliance with the Contract; iii. recouping payments made by the System Agency to the Contractor found to be in error; iv. suspending, limiting, or placing conditions on the Contractor’s continued performance of Work; or v. imposing any other remedies, sanctions, or penalties authorized under this Contract or permitted by federal or state law.
