Contracting for Construction Sample Clauses

Contracting for Construction. Neither the Consultant nor any; person, firm or corporation associated or affiliated with or subsidiary to the Consultant shall tender for the construction of the Project, or have an interest either directly or indirectly in the construction of the Project.
Contracting for Construction. The Engineer or any person, firm or corporation associated or affiliated with or subsidiary to the Engineer shall not tender for the construction of the Project or have an interest either directly or indirectly in the construction of the Project.
Contracting for Construction. The Consultant or any person, firm or corporation associated or affiliated with or subsidiary to the Consultant shall not tender for the construction of the Project or have an interest either directly or indirectly in the construction of the Project.
Contracting for Construction. Design Professional, or any person, firm or corporation associated or affiliated with or subsidiary to Design Professional or any of its officers, directors or employees shall not tender bids or proposals for any or all of the construction of the Project or have an interest either directly or indirectly in the construction of the Project, without the prior written consent of Owner.
Contracting for Construction. Lessor will engage the General Contractor to construct the Improvements. Lessor is entitled to exercise its discretion in the allocation and apportionment of the work on the Improvements and to engage such other contractors as Lessor deems necessary and appropriate to construct the Improvements in a timely and cost-efficient manner. Lessor will negotiate and prepare the Construction Contracts, and will fulfill all of the responsibilities of the owner under such contracts. In connection with the negotiation of the Construction Contracts with the General Contractor, Lessor will (unless Lessee otherwise consents) cause the General Contractor at all times to maintain: 3.1.1.1 Builder’s risk insurance covering the construction of the Improvements, in a face amount of not less than the full insurable value of the Improvements and materials supplied in connection with the Improvements; 3.1.1.2 Liability insurance against claims for personal injury, death or property damage suffered by members of the public or others in or about the Land or adjacent land used in connection with the construction of the Improvements or occurring by reason of the ownership, maintenance, use or operation by Lessor, the General Contractor or any subcontractor, agent or employee thereof of any equipment, vehicles or other facilities in connection with the Property or the construction of the Improvements, in amounts of at least $1,000,000.00 per occurrence and $2,000,000.00 aggregate for personal injury or death and $100,000.00 for property damage.
Contracting for Construction. It is understood that the Commission will not be responsible for any obligations associated with bidding, awarding a contract, and administering said contract for the Proposed ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Park WQI Project, but rather those responsibilities will be taken on by either TRPD, Robbinsdale, or Golden Valley in accordance with the eventual terms of the cooperative agreement contemplated in subsection 1.E above.
