Common use of Contractor Indemnification and Hold Harmless Clause in Contracts

Contractor Indemnification and Hold Harmless. Grant Recipient will require its construction contractors and subcontractors to defend, indemnify, and hold King County, its officers, officials, employees, and volunteers harmless from any and all claims, injuries, damages, losses, or suits including attorney's fees and costs, arising out of or in connection with the design, development, and construction of the Facility (hereinafter "Design and Construction Phase"), except for injuries and damages caused by the negligence of King County.
