Contractor Remedies for Breach of Insurance. Requirements If Subcontractor fails to provide insurance, certificates, endorsements or policies as required, the Contractor may, in addition to any other remedy provided in this Agreement or by law: A. Obtain such requisite insurance and deduct and retain the amount of the premiums for such insurance from any sums due to the Subcontractor under the Agreement; B. Order the Subcontractor to stop Work under this Agreement and/or withhold any payment(s) which become due to the Subcontractor hereunder until the Subcontractor demonstrates compliance with the requirements hereof; or C. Declare Subcontractor to be in default and terminate the Agreement for default as provided by the Agreement.
