Common use of Contractor to Maintain Insurance Clause in Contracts

Contractor to Maintain Insurance. Contractor may not cancel, materially change, or not renew insurance coverages. If any policy is canceled before final payment by County to Contractor, Contractor must immediately procure other insurance meeting the requirements. Any insurance bearing on adequacy of performance must be maintained after completion of the Contract for the full guarantee period. If Contractor fails to maintain any required insurance, County reserves the right to procure such insurance and to charge the cost to Contractor.
