CONTRACTOR’S CERTIFICATION REGARDING SUSPENSION AND DEBARMENT. 2.1 The Contractor certifies that neither it nor its principals are presently debarred, suspended, proposed for debarment, declared ineligible, or voluntarily excluded from participation in this contract by any Federal department or agency pursuant to 2 CFR Part 180. 2.2 The Contractor shall include these certification requirements regarding debarment, suspension, ineligibility, and voluntary exclusion in all lower tier covered transactions. 2.3 If the Contractor enters into a covered transaction with another person at the next lower tier, the Contractor must verify that the person with whom it intends to do business is not excluded or disqualified by: 2.3.1 Checking the System of Award Management (XXX) xxxxx://xxx.xxx.gov; or 2.3.2 Collecting a certification from that person; or 2.3.3 Adding a clause or condition to the covered transaction with that person.
