Common use of Contractor’s Claim Clause in Contracts

Contractor’s Claim. 18.2.1 If the Contractor considers itself entitled to any extension of Construction Period and/or any additional payment, under any provisions of the Contract, the Contractor shall give notice to that effect to the Authority, describing the event or circumstance giving rise to the claim ("Contractor’s Claim"). The notice shall be given as soon as practicable but not later than fourteen (14) days after the date on which the Contractor became aware of the event or circumstances giving rise to the Contractor's Claim.
