Common use of CONTRACTOR’S drawings Clause in Contracts

CONTRACTOR’S drawings. 11.1. The Contractor shall submit to the Engineer for approval: a) the drawings, documents, samples and/or models, according to the time limits and procedures laid down in the Contract; b) such drawings as the Engineer may reasonably require for the implementation of the Contract. The approval of the drawings, documents, samples or models by the Engineer shall not relieve the Contractor from any of his obligations under the Contract. 11.2. Before the issue of the Certificate of Substantial Completion of the Works by the Engineer, the Contractor shall supply operating and maintenance manuals together with drawings, which shall be detailed enough to enable the Contracting Authority to operate, maintain, adjust and repair all parts of the Works. 11.3. These detailed drawings, documents and items may not be reproduced or used for another purpose by the Contracting Authority, nor communicated to third parties, except with the Contractor's and on payment of fair compensation.
