Contradiction Clause Samples

A Contradiction clause defines how conflicts between different provisions within a contract are to be resolved. Typically, it establishes a hierarchy among the contract documents or specifies which provision will prevail if there is an inconsistency. For example, if the main agreement and an attached schedule contain conflicting terms, the clause may state that the main agreement takes precedence. This ensures clarity and prevents disputes by providing a clear method for resolving ambiguities or contradictions within the contract.
