Common use of Contribution Agreement Only Clause in Contracts

Contribution Agreement Only. The Agreement is a contribution agreement only, not a contract for services or a contract of service or employment, and nothing in the Agreement, the parties relationship or actions is intended to create, nor shall be considered as creating, a partnership, employment or agency relationship between them. The Proponent is not in any way authorized to make a promise, agreement or contract and to incur any liability on behalf of Canada, nor shall Canada make a promise, agreement or contract and incur any liability on behalf of the Proponent, and the Proponent shall be solely responsible for any and all payments and deductions required by the applicable laws.
