Contribution – Dependent Sample Clauses
The 'Contribution – Dependent' clause defines how liability or responsibility is shared among parties when a claim arises that involves a dependent party, such as a subcontractor or affiliate. In practice, this clause typically outlines the extent to which each party must contribute to damages, losses, or costs, often in proportion to their involvement or fault. For example, if a subcontractor's actions lead to a loss, the clause may specify how much the main contractor and the subcontractor each pay. Its core function is to allocate risk and financial responsibility fairly among parties, preventing one party from bearing the entire burden for issues caused by others.
