Common use of Contributions and Advances Clause in Contracts

Contributions and Advances. Contributions or advances of public funds and of personnel, equipment or property may be made to the Authority by any Member or any other public agency to further the purpose of this Agreement. Payment of public funds may be made to defray the cost of any contribution. Any advance may be made subject to repayment, and in that case shall be repaid in the manner agreed upon by the advancing Member or other public agency and the Authority at the time of making the advance.

Any such advance applicable to a specific Project may be repaid by the advanceparticipants of the Project in accordance with an allocation agreed upon by the Project Participants.
