Common use of Conveyance and Assignment Clause in Contracts

Conveyance and Assignment. The City may convey, transfer and assign this Easement to a similar local, state or national organization whose purpose, inter alia, is to promote historic preservation, and which is a "qualified organization" under Section 170(h)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, provided that any conveyance or assignment requires that the conservation purposes for which this Easement was granted will continue to be carried out.
