Common use of Cooking; Use of Premises for Improper Purposes Clause in Contracts

Cooking; Use of Premises for Improper Purposes. No tenant will permit its Premises to be used for lodging or sleeping. No cooking will be done or permitted by any tenant on its Premises, except in areas of the Premises which are specially constructed for cooking as specifically provided in working drawings approved by Landlord, so long as such use is in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and city laws, codes, ordinances, rules and regulations. Notwithstanding the foregoing, microwave ovens and other Underwriters’ Laboratory (UL)–approved equipment may be used in the Premises for heating food and brewing coffee, tea, and similar beverages for employees and visitors. The Premises shall not be used for the storage of merchandise or for any improper, reasonably objectionable, or immoral purpose.
