Cooperation on tourism. 1. Cooperation between the Parties shall primarily aim to improve the exchange of information and establish best practices in order to ensure a balanced and sustainable development of tourism. 2. In this context, the Parties shall focus in particular on: (a) safeguarding and maximising the potential of natural and cultural heritage; (b) respecting the integrity and interests of local communities; (c) promoting cooperation between regions and towns in neighbouring countries; (d) improving training in the hotel industry, with particular emphasis on hotel management and administration.
