Common use of Copyright and Patent Rights Clause in Contracts

Copyright and Patent Rights. No reports, maps, or other documents produced in whole or in part under this contract shall be the subject of an application for copyright by or on behalf of the contractor. The US Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Indiana Office of Community and Rural Affairs and the grantee shall possess all rights to invention or discovery, as well as rights in data which may arise as a result of the contractor’s services.
