Common use of COST EXTENSION Clause in Contracts

COST EXTENSION. The Prime Recipient may request the DOE Contracting Officer to authorize a one-time, no-cost extension of this Award. Such requests must be submitted in writing to the DOE Contracting Officer at least 60 days before the end of the project period. The DOE Contracting Officer may, at his discretion, grant or deny such requests. Any no-cost extension will not alter the schedule of technical milestones and deliverables in Attachment 3 to this Award.
