Common use of Cost of Compliance with Law Clause in Contracts

Cost of Compliance with Law. All expenses associated with compliance with Law related to the servicing of the Mortgage Loans in the Covered Trusts shall be borne by the Master Servicer and/or the Subservicers, as applicable, provided that (i) any modification or other loss mitigation strategy that may be required or permitted by Law, and/or (ii) any Advance that is required or permitted by Law, that is permissible under the terms of this Settlement Agreement and/or the Governing Agreements shall not be deemed to be an expense associated with compliance with Law related to the servicing of the Mortgage Loans in the Covered Trusts, and any Realized Loss associated with the implementation of such modification or loss mitigation strategy shall be borne by the relevant Covered Trust.
