Common use of Costs and Expenses Allocated to the Adviser Clause in Contracts

Costs and Expenses Allocated to the Adviser. The expenses to be borne by the Adviser are limited to the following: (a) to the extent allocable for the provision of investment advisory or management services required to be provided to the Company by the Adviser under this Agreement, the cost of adequate office space for the investment professionals of the Adviser and their respective staffs, and all necessary office equipment and services, including telephone service, heat, utilities, and similar items, and supplies; and (b) to the extent allocable for the provision of the investment advisory or management services required to be provided to the Company by the Adviser under this Agreement, the wages, salaries, and benefits of the Adviser’s investment professionals, employees, and personnel.
