A coterminous clause establishes that the duration of one agreement or obligation will align with the term of another related agreement. In practice, this means that if one contract ends, the coterminous contract will automatically end at the same time, regardless of its original expiration date. This clause is commonly used in situations where multiple agreements are interdependent, such as service contracts tied to a master agreement. Its core function is to ensure consistency and avoid mismatched contract periods, thereby simplifying administration and reducing the risk of unintended obligations continuing beyond the main agreement.

Coterminous. Any services, or sites receiving services, added during the course of this Contract must be coterminous with, (or end the same time as), this Contract, including any extensions hereto.
