Counselor Certification i. Any counselor or registrant providing intake, assessment of need for services, treatment or recovery planning, individual or group counseling to participants, patients, or residents in a DHCS licensed or certified program is required to be certified as defined in Title 9, Division 4, Chapter 8. Participation of County Alcohol and Drug Program Administrators Association of California (CADPAAC) Members Pursuant to HSC Section 11801(g), the alcohol and drug program administrator shall participate and represent the county in meetings of the CADPAAC for the purposes of representing the counties in their relationship with the state with respect to policies, standards, and administration for alcohol and other drug abuse services.
