COUNTERPART LEASE Sample Clauses

The Counterpart Lease clause defines the process by which a lease agreement may be executed in multiple identical copies, known as counterparts, each of which is considered an original document. In practice, this means that the landlord and tenant can each sign separate copies of the lease, and together these signed documents form a single binding agreement. This clause facilitates the efficient execution of leases, especially when parties are in different locations, and ensures that the lease is legally effective even if all signatures do not appear on the same physical document.
