County Cost. $291,247.11 is the County's estimated share of the costs of the contract construction, State Furnished Materials and the 8 percent construction engineering cost share as shown in the Preliminary Schedule "I". The Preliminary Schedule "I" was prepared using estimated quantities and unit prices, and may include any credits or lump sum costs. Upon award of the construction contract, the State will prepare a Revised Schedule "I" based on construction contract unit prices, which will replace and supersede the Preliminary Schedule "I" as part of this Agreement.

  • Federal and State Taxes Under this Agreement, the Client shall not be responsible for: Withholding FICA, Medicare, Social Security, or any other federal or state withholding taxes from the Contractor’s payments to employees or personnel or make payments on behalf of the Contractor; Make federal or state unemployment compensation contributions on the Contractor’s behalf; and the payment of all taxes incurred related to or while performing the Services under this Agreement, including all applicable income taxes and, if the Contractor is not a corporation, all applicable self-employment taxes. Upon demand, the Contractor shall provide the Client with proof that such payments have been made.

  • County The term COUNTY refers to the Board of County Commissioners of Lee County, a charter County and political subdivision of the State of Florida, and any official or employee duly authorized to act on the COUNTY'S behalf relative to this Agreement.

  • Personal Property Reimbursement Employees shall, in proper cases, be reimbursed for the repair or replacement of personal property damaged in the line of duty without fault of the employee. The amount of reimbursement for articles of clothing shall be the depreciated value based on the age and condition of the article. Reimbursement for a watch shall be limited to the functional value of the watch.

  • FEDERAL AND STATE TAX The County is exempt from Federal and State Sales and Use Taxes for tangible personal property (Certificate of Registry for tax transactions under Chapter 32, Internal Revenue Code and Florida Sales/Use Tax Exemption Certificate). The Manager, Procurement Division will sign an exemption certificate submitted by the Contractor. Contractors doing business with the County shall not be exempted from paying sales tax to their suppliers for materials to fulfill contractual obligations with the County, nor shall any Contractor be authorized to use the County’s Tax Exemption Number in securing such materials.

  • County Data Nothing in this Agreement will be construed to waive the requirements of § 205.009 of the Texas Local Government Code.
