Common use of COURSES NOT RELATING TO PRESENT ASSIGNMENT Clause in Contracts

COURSES NOT RELATING TO PRESENT ASSIGNMENT. If a course or training program has no direct application to the employee’s present job but may prepare the employee for future assignments within the Agency, the Agency will pay one-half (1/2) of the tuition. Books, travel, meals, and overtime provisions will not apply. Reimbursement for one-half (1/2) the tuition may be made when the employee presents evidence of satisfactory completion of the training.
