Covering Class Periods. Teachers who are asked by administrative staff or designee to cover a class during their preparation period shall receive one (1) additional personal day per six (6) hours (Elementary Level), six (6) class period (Middle School Level), and four (4) class periods (High School Level) of such duty. If the personal day is not used during the school year, it will rollover into the teacher’s accumulated sick days.
