CPDC Review & Validation Clause Samples
The CPDC Review & Validation clause establishes a process for the review and confirmation of deliverables or project components by the CPDC (Central Project Delivery Committee or similar body). In practice, this clause requires that certain documents, plans, or outputs be submitted to the CPDC for assessment, and only upon their approval can the project proceed to subsequent stages. This mechanism ensures that all work meets predefined standards and requirements, thereby maintaining quality control and reducing the risk of errors or non-compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
CPDC Review & Validation. All major capital projects require review and validation by CPDC and approval by the Trustees. The engineer shall make a progress schematic phase presentation to CPDC early enough in the development of the phase (approximately 75%) so that design comments from this review meeting can be effectively incorporated into the final 100% schematic submittal for Trustee approval. The engineer shall develop and present the following materials:
.1 Campus map indicating buildings and sites impacted by the scope of work, system site plan, building floor plans indicating camera locations, infrastructure, and data and equipment rooms.
.2 An estimate of the total construction costs presented in CSU 2-7 format.
.3 The engineer shall adjust and complete the schematic design incorporating comments received.
.4 The response to review comments received from the CPDC review meeting shall be noted in the final schematic submittal narrative.
