Common use of Creation of Consortium Clause in Contracts

Creation of Consortium. The Localities hereby create an unincorporated association known as the “Shenandoah Valley Chief Elected Officials Consortium” (the “Consortium”. The Consortium shall have the powers described in this Agreement or otherwise allocated to the Localities’ Chief Elected Officials under WIOA, but no other powers, and shall exercise its powers through the votes of its voting members or otherwise in accordance with its bylaws.
