Common use of Credit Allowance for Interruption of Service Clause in Contracts

Credit Allowance for Interruption of Service. Credit allowances for interruptions of service which are not due to the Carrier's testing or adjusting are subject to the general liability provisions set forth in Section 3.5 herein and shall be equal to the proportionate charge to the Customer for the period during which any such Interruption occurred. It shall be the obligation of the Customer to notify Carrier immediately of any Interruption in service for which a credit allowance is desired by Customer. Before giving such notice, Customer shall ascertain that the trouble is not within his or her control, or is not in wiring or equipment, if any, furnished by Customer in connection with Carrier's service.
