Common use of Credit Approval and Deposits Clause in Contracts

Credit Approval and Deposits. Customer will provide CenturyLink with credit information as requested. CenturyLink may require Customer to make a deposit as a condition of acceptance of any Order or continuation of: (a) usage-based Services; or (b) non-usage based Service where Customer fails to timely pay CenturyLink hereunder or CenturyLink reasonably determines that Customer has had an adverse change in financial condition. Deposits will not exceed two due upon written request. When Service is discontinued, the deposit will be credited to Customer's account and the balance refunded.
