Common use of Credit Balances Clause in Contracts

Credit Balances. We do not pay interest on credit balances. You acknowledge that credit balances are not deposits and are therefore not insured by the Province of Alberta, the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation, or any other government deposit insurer or agency. We will comply with applicable unclaimed property laws which may require us to forward unclaimed funds to government authorities after a certain period of time.
