Common use of Credit Risk Clause in Contracts

Credit Risk. 13.1 Should the Bank, Issuer or trading counterparty for a unit trust become unable to meet its financial obligations, there is a possibility that the investment may lose its value and the associated trading costs and profits may not be recoverable. The Customer should be aware that in making any Investment, the Customer is potentially subject to the credit risk of the Bank or the Issuer, and their abilities to meet their respective financial liabilities in respect of the investment.
