Common use of Credit Search Clause in Contracts

Credit Search. With the exception, in some circumstances, of then existing Abbey mortgage loan borrowers, a credit search is carried out in respect of all applicants. Applications may be declined where an adverse credit history (e.g. county court judgment (or the Scottish equivalent), default, bankruptcy notice) is revealed.
