Common use of Criminal Investigation Branch Clause in Contracts

Criminal Investigation Branch. The Criminal Investigation Branch shall be divided into two (2) platoons comprised of two (2) units each. Each platoon will work a ten (10) hour shift schedule based on an eight (8) week rotation and will work two (2) shifts comprised of days and afternoons. The hours of work shall be: Days: 0700 – 1700 hours Afternoons: 1400 – 2400 hours All members on this rotation are scheduled to be on duty Wednesdays. Supervisors shall be responsible to liaise with the Training Unit and schedule members to take advantage of training opportunities on those days as well as facilitating and/or conducting training with members of other Branches. The Sergeant in charge of the Forensic Identification Unit and a Forensic Identification Constable assigned to the Unit shall work a forty (40) hour week consisting of five (5) daily tours of duty of eight (8) consecutive hours each.
